This system is the best option for treating the wet waste generated because of the following reasons:
• There is no electric heater and hence minimum consumption of electricity.• With air blowers and a moving drum in place for aeration, the composting takes place naturally by breakdown of food particles.• The output is nutrient rich compost which could be used as manure for household gardens, agricultural farms etc.• Since the entire composting and maturing process happens inside the vessel within the 15 to 20 days period, there is no requirement of storing the compost further for maturing/curing after removal hence a lot of space saving could be achieved.
